Having worked in a range of finance roles, from Finance Business Partner to Project Accountant, Marta has built a solid foundation of professional expertise. However, what truly defines her is her unwavering commitment to giving back to those in need.
From a young age, she has been actively involved in volunteering. Whether lending a hand at local community projects or participating in fundraising events, she has always believed in the power of helping others. This desire to make a difference is rooted in a firm belief: life isn’t always fair, but those with the ability to help should use their resources, time, and skills to make a difference. Marta’s favourite quote says, “Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean”, which perfectly captures her belief in the power of collective action. By working together – whether as donors, volunteers, or partners – she knows that we can build stronger, more supportive communities. Through her work at Sunrise, she is not only making a difference today but also helping to build a brighter, more equitable tomorrow.
