After enjoying bringing up two sons and working in education in Bristol, Maggie travelled to South America to engage in voluntary activity with children. This led to taking over the running of a UK charity working with disabled children in Urubamba, Peru.
Maggie is committed to trying to help others enjoy life to the full, regardless of disadvantages they face and hopes to do this through the Sunrise Foundation.
Bryan is a retired Chartered Engineer from Bristol, with a long and successful career running a national multi-million-pound building services company.
Bryan has spent many years both professionally and personally supporting the development of young people from all backgrounds.
Ben’s background was IT support within a national building services company.
He is keen to support the Sunrise Foundation and develop its activities going forward into the future.
Marta has built strong expertise through various finance roles, but what truly defines her is her deep commitment to helping others and giving back to the community.
Through volunteering, fundraising, and her work at Sunrise, she strives to create stronger, more supportive communities and a brighter, more equitable future.
Edward has many years of experience at a senior level providing Investment, Asset Allocation and Structuring advice to High Net Worth and Family Office clients.
He has a fresh perspective and an abundance of compassion to help shape, support and contribute his ideas and knowledge whilst learning about Sunrise and the projects it supports.
Sophie manages and maintains operations of the Foundation ensuring the overall success of the charity grant giving procedures meet with legal and regulatory requirements.
Her passion is children and has learnt first-hand some of the challenges the disadvantaged youngsters in Urubamba, Peru face when she visited in May 2017.
